Sometimes I have no idea what to get for people. Especially when they seem to have it all. Anyone else? But while looking for the perfect gifts for my mom and mother-in-law, I found a few things and thought I would put a quick gift guide together for those of you who needed some help in this department too!

I love making themed baskets so get ready for a ton of ideas! Mix and match for the perfect gift and don’t forget to add a card and maybe some flowers too!

*In Peter Pan’s voice* Here we gooooo

Kendra Scott Earrings

1. Jewelry

A cute necklace with her name or initial (like this one), her kids’ initials/names or birthstones. Kendra Scott anything – I love both pairs of earrings my bestie gifted me (these and these). There so many cute options that can be tailored to who you’re shopping for! Check out more on Etsy too!

Jewelry Case Holder Amazon

2. Jewelry Case

There are a lot of options and sizes to these. I recently purchased this jewelry cabinet and love it so far! It has plenty of room, keeps it out of sight and in a small(er) space . I have it hanging on the wall in my closet.

Coral and Aqua Scarf

3. A Scarf

This plaid blanket scarf is so stinkin’ cute or this reversible scarf has an animal print on one side and plaid on the other. Toss this in with literally any other item to make the perfect gift.

Fuzzy House Slippers Amazon

4. Comfy Slippers

I got these a few years ago from Amazon and they are super comfy! Pair some slippers and lotion (my favorite before bed lotion is Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion) or with a comfy robe, blanket, or cardigan. Why not make it a comfort basket? Throw in a movie and chocolate or wine.

Oversized Sweater Leggings Lounge Wear

5. Soft Pajamas

Who doesn’t want comfy pajamas to lounge around in? Or these fun printed sets – tops and pants. Or grab some soft lounge wear (I have these joggers and they are super comfortable) for her since we’re all staying home right now anyway! Here are some joggers with cute ruffled pockets.

6. Comfy Cardigan or Blanket

Barefoot Dreams is on my list to try. I’ve heard these are the softest blankets/sweaters ever. This Barefoot Dreams Cardi is so cute and has several color options. I have also had luck with warm and soft blankets from Sams and Costco!

Makeup Brushes and Beauty Blender

7. Beauty Tools

Many of my girlfriends are raving about these Beauty Blenders. I have yet to try them – they are currently in my cart to order. Some of my other favorite makeup brushes are made by Lori Hogg. Throw these in with her go to cosmetic products or give her something new to try!

Makeup Brush Cleaning Pad and Brushes

8. Brush Cleaning Mat

This brush cleaning mat is so helpful when getting cream and liquid products out of brushes. Pair this with a brush set, brush cleaner, or any other bathroom essentials. You could make a bathroom essentials/spa kit – hydrating face mask, nail polishbath bombs, etc.

Revlon Blow Dryer Monat Hair Care

9. Blow Dryer

Everyone is raving about this blow dryer. My current blow dryer is going down hill and believe me when I say that this is the one I’ll be purchasing next. Add in your favorite hair product like a heat protectant or dry shampoo!

Dot Grid Notebooks

10. Notebooks

I found these notebooks after using leuchtturm notebooks for a few years. You get two for the price of one of leuchtturm or moleskin. The quality of these hold up really well too. I use these for everything! Add pens, a book, or a devotional with these to make a gift basket.

Sol Planner Undated

11. Sol Planner

Okay, okay I know what you’re thinking. Really Brenna, a planner? YES. I would definitely love to get this as a gift! *insert nerd emoji here* This is the current planner I’m using and before this I used the Happy Planner. I personally love both! The Sol Planner does come undated (which I would recommend since we’re almost halfway through the year already). The Happy Planner has kits or you can buy it individually. If you wanted to put a basket together, you can add some stickers, pens, sticky notes – options are endless!

Wood Encouragement Box

12. Wooden Box with Encouragement Cards

As soon as I saw this, I thought it was such a sweet gift. A promise box with 90 cards focusing around kindness, empowerment, and promises. It’s made by Candace Cameron (the actress who played DJ from Full House) which is fun!

Camo and Striped V Neck Tee Target

13. Basic Tees

These are always nice to have! As a mom of two under two, I am constantly changing my shirt. I basically live in yoga pants and tees. So more of these in my closet would not hurt one bit. My go-to places for tees are Target and H&M but these Amazon tees have great reviews also!

Personalized Tote and Red Crossbody

14. New Purse

There are some great finds on Amazon like this Medium Sized Crossbody Bag. Target always comes through with cute handbags like this gorgeous blue satchel (also comes in beige). Or personalize a tote for her like this one. I use this for literally everything. You can pair this with a number of things – scarf, earrings, planner, or roll up the tees inside.

Black Slip On Shoes

15. Black Slip-Ons

I practically lived in these my whole second pregnancy. Comfortable, easy to put on, and stylish = winner. There are other color options but you can never go wrong with black! Pair with some no show socks.

Aqua Kitchen Aid Mixer

16. Kitchen Aid Mixer

best. gift. ever. My husband got me a Kitchen Aid Mixer a few years back and it is so handy to have. I love using it when I’m baking and he loves the end result of homemade cookies or bread! I have this Mixer – the color is gorgeous.

Homemade Recipe Book with Hand Towel

17. Cook Book

Grab any cookbook or (make your own with family recipes) and pair with a set of kitchen towels to match her kitchen (or with special saying on it), a few kitchen utensils or measuring cups, and place inside of a mixing bowl.

Personalized Cutting Boards Shutterfly

18. Cutting Board

I absolutely love these personalized cutting boards. I have two in my kitchen, one received as a wedding gift and the other I got for us one Christmas. Pair these with any other kitchen items – towels, utensils, cookbook, and you have a super cute and thoughtful gift.

Whether you purchase the Kitchen Aid Mixer or a scarf – she’ll love it. I am a full believer in “it’s the thought that counts”. She’ll really love that you put thought and time into her gift. Oh! and don’t forget a hand written note. Thank her for being the best mom, thank her for the sacrifices she has made, write how much you appreciate her still answering your questions about basic cooking skills even though your reaching 30 (thanks mom) or how to stay sane with your kids being home all the time (I can’t be the only one). A sweet and sentimental note is so thoughtful and appreciated. I love making handmade cards and have saved a few ideas on my Pinterest board that you can check out (and don’t forget to follow me while you’re there for more creative ideas!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you sweet mamas! I hope you feel loved and celebrated by your loved ones.
